Jan 15, 2019  I have gone on three trips with Maine Mineral Adventures.On all trips a group was led to a mine site and given instructions on where and how to find gemstones.The first trip was to the Bennett Quarry where I found beryl,smokey quartz and lepidolite.The second trip was to Mt Mica where I found gem tourmaline,lepidolite,quartz and mica.Yes there was a fee but it was well worth the cost.
